Inside amfAR Hong Kong 2018

March has been a busy month for all the art happenings, packed with the biggest art fairs and exciting exhibitions opening. One black-tie event definitely not to miss, was the fourth amFAR Gala Hong Kong by The Foundation for AIDS Reseach on March 26.

My first attendance at the fundraising gala event, I was beyond-words excited to be there with the star-studded crowd, all for a great cause.

Outfit: Calvin Klein #mycalvins

The night honoured the world-renowned American artist KAWS and philanthropist Cathy Lee, saw the attendance of Liam Hemsworth, Jessican Jung, Super Junior’s Siwon, and more, and featured the performance of Kylie Minogue and Tove Lo!

FARFETCH x HARPER'S BAZAAR

Recently, Farfetch and Harper’s Bazaar joined hands and co-hosted a gala dinner at the Chinese Academy of Oil Painting in Beijing. Creative talents, style icons and celebrities were brought together to share the passion in fashion and design.

It was my honour to be there, talk to the founder and CEO José Neves, spend a great night and meet some new friends. Needless to say, the whole atmosphere left me in awe and the dinner was utterly beautiful.

One more thing to highlight during this trip, was the lavish living at Rosewood Beijing. Chinese-style influenced yet modern, the elegant hotel features natural finishes, fine art prints, subtle Oriental aesthetics and more. It is a place where luxurious comfort and modern sophistication meet.

Welcome back! Harvey Nichols Landmark Store Reopening

The wait is over!

Harvey Nichols (HN) has always been one of my favorite shopping destinations in Hong Kong. Their Landmark store which I have been waiting desperately has finally ready after 3-month of renovation. Finally the grand reopening of this 5-storey store is set for this month!

This time, I was not only invited as a guest to celebrate the joy but also has the great honor to take part in their social media campaign, contributing in creative direction and work together with some of the most active influencers in fashion and beauty for a photo shoot. You can view some of our works here.

As I would have expected, the grand opening party didn't let anyone down.  Guests are all dressed up in outfits from HN with spectacular bites and drinks while watching whole bunch of gorgeous models giving everyone a fabulous catwalk show inside the store.  Everyone also had the opportunity to experience the exclusive service in the Style Concierge and try out the most exciting brands at the Mixology.

I have to admit that I do miss the HN restaurant that was used to be located next to menswear on the fourth floor before renovation but now no longer there. It was a perfect location to spend for a relaxing afternoon or chill out with friends. The decision to close down that restaurant was sad, but well, that also mean a larger area for menswear. It's a tie then, isn't it?

For those who enjoy luxurious and cozy shopping experience, HN Landmark is definitely an inevitable place to go!

"130th Anniversary of The Tiffany Setting" Exhibition

What comes to your mind first when you see  'Robbin eye blue color' and Audrey Hepburn? It's a no brainer that everyone's answer will be Tiffany & Co.  In fact, Tiffany & Co. seems to be the only brand that you don't need to see any logo but you can still know where its from - a very successful marketed brand. (Leave me a comment if you know other brands which you can tell straight away when you see certain color)

Today we all come to celebrate the 130th anniversary of this famous brand.

At the Atrium in Landmark Hong Kong until Oct 16, Tiffany has setup a pop-up exhibition showcasing a 8.88 carats diamond ring that all women and camera were dying to meet.  Trust me, the probability is 100% if you use this as your proposal ring. Ladies/Gentlemen, Boys/Girls - come and take a look at it yourself and you will certainly agree with me.

I, unlike others, was felt in love with my friend Jeremy's Tiffany blue biker jacket, it was such a nice jacket that match the theme color and occasion.  Oh damn! I forgot to ask where got it!

Another fun activity is to arrange yourself a love letter from Tiffany & Co. which was calligraphed, it's such a lovely and meaningful gift for all the guests!
